Kardia Support & Accommodation is a newly formed family business set up as a sister company of R&J Support & Care Services Ltd. Partners Carla, Donna and Jayne have a combined experience of 43 years working within Supported Accommodation as well as working under a Birmingham City council contract to support vulnerable adults suffering with mental health problems in the community. Kardia Support & Accommodation Ltd is supported housing providing long term, safe and stable homes for the most vulnerable adults in our community. Potential residents will need to complete a referral form and meet criteria before being accepted into a Kardia property, namely coming under the criteria of a vulnerable adult with learning disabilities or mental ill health. Residents will also undergo an assessment of needs and risk. Weekly support will be mandatory for all residents in order to adhere to their tenancy agreement. Four hours of weekly support will be given in alliance with residents support plans which consist of personal goals and objectives set out by themselves during the assessment stage; as milestones are met new ones will replace them. Support is reviewed 12 monthly, earlier if resident’s circumstances change.
